Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and identify potential security concerns.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular patrols around the premises to detect unauthorized activity or safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols and communicating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
• Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations calmly and professionally.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes.
• Support loss prevention initiatives by observing suspicious behavior and reporting any theft or vandalism.

Skills

• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify unusual or suspicious activity quickly.
• Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems for effective monitoring.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
• Background or experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with security procedures, including access control and incident reporting protocols.
