Duties

• Provide visible security presence during events by patrolling designated areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety.
• Operate access control systems to verify credentials and regulate entry for staff, vendors, and guests.
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV cameras and other monitoring tools to identify potential security threats or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents, including conflicts, emergencies, or medical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences for record-keeping and follow-up.
• Utilize law enforcement techniques such as conflict de-escalation, firearm handling (for armed guards), Taser deployment, and conflict management when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Valid firearms handling certification and Taser training for armed guard positions.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and fire safety are preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV and access control systems is desired.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or crowd management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and interact professionally with diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and compliance with all security regulations is mandatory.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk extensively during patrols, and respond swiftly in high-pressure situations.
