Armed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a highly responsible individual with a strong background in security protocols, law enforcement, or military experience. Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate action
• Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary until emergency services arrive
• Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating potential threats
• Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs
• Assist law enforcement or emergency responders during investigations or incidents
• Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behaviors and preventing thefts
• Perform access control duties by checking identification and verifying credentials

Skills

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities
• Knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally
• Good physical fitness with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond quickly when needed
• Effective communication skills for interacting with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies
