Night Yard Security Guard

Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Night Yard Security Guard / Yard Assistant to oversee and support operations in our petroleum yard during overnight hours. This role involves security, customer interaction, and general yard organization. The ideal candidate is attentive, dependable, and comfortable working independently at night.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the yard to ensure safety and security
• Control access and keep track of vehicles entering and leaving the yard
• Welcome and assist parking customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Provide basic assistance and directions to visitors as needed
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard at all times
• Help coordinate and organize yard operations when needed
• Report any suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns
• Keep a daily log of activities and observations
• Follow all safety procedures, especially in a petroleum yard environment

Requirements:

• Previous security or yard experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to work overnight shifts (6 PM – 12 AM – 6 AM)
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Ability to work independently
• Basic English communication skills

Compensation:

• Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Payment Schedule: Weekly pay (every Friday)
• Flexible scheduling available
