Rover Security Officer (Part-time, On-call)

About Us:

We are currently seeking reliable and flexible Part-Time Rover Security Officers to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who can adapt quickly and step in to cover shifts across multiple sites when needed.

Position Overview:
As a Rover Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. You will respond to call-offs, cover open shifts, and provide on-site support across various locations. This position requires professionalism, adaptability, and strong driving experience, as travel between client sites is a regular part of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to fill-in requests and cover shifts across multiple client sites.
• Conduct regular patrols to detect, deter, and report suspicious or unauthorized activities.
• Monitor premises and surveillance systems, reporting irregularities in a timely manner.
• Provide a visible and professional security presence to maintain order and deter incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and security concerns efficiently and appropriately.
• Deliver excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors.
• Enforce site-specific rules, policies, and safety procedures.
• Complete accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports.
• Safely operate company or personal vehicles when traveling between job sites.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional security training or coursework preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Proven security experience, preferably in a flexible or on-call capacity.
• Valid California Guard Card and driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
