Shift Supervisor – Production Studio Security
Pay: $24/hr
Schedule: Swing 3-11PM Thurs.-Sun. & Graveyard Monday 11PM – 7AM

We’re looking for a motivated Shift Supervisor with a can-do attitude who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working closely with movie production teams. This position plays a key role in keeping a high-profile production studio safe, organized, and running smoothly.
You’ll work under the direction of the Post Commander and alongside the Operations Manager and Field Supervisors, ensuring that all gates, lots, staff, and talent are secure and exactly where they need to be.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate security officers to exceed client expectations.
- Maintain strong communication and positive relationships with production personnel, clients, and team members.
- Make quick, effective decisions in emergency or high-pressure situations.
- Uphold and enforce company policies, regulations, and site procedures.
- Support the Post Commander with administrative responsibilities and quality control.
- Conduct disciplinary actions when necessary and clearly communicate performance expectations.
- Understand, follow, and teach all GSI policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine patrols and respond promptly to alarms, distress calls, and areas of concern.
- Manage shift activity logs in TrackTik and report important updates to the Post Commander.
- Ensure all officers complete accurate timesheets and submit them to the scheduler by Monday morning.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times with proper uniform attire.
- Assist in creating and improving site-specific protocols to ensure the highest level of safety.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout all interactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience (security experience preferred).
- Experience in the movie production industry is helpful, but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with officers, management, and clients—including through email.
- Available to handle calls, questions, or issues that arise during your shift.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
