Security Guard

Swing Shift Needed: 2PM – 10:30PM

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This position requires strong observation skills, the ability to handle difficult situations calmly, and a commitment to ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities:
– Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access or activities
– Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats
– Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, including emergency situations
– Conduct regular security checks of the premises
– Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activities or breaches
– Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their concerns
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Skills:
– Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
– Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
– Possess a valid security certificate or license (if required by state regulations)
– Ability to effectively manage conflicts and diffuse tense situations
– Familiarity with first aid techniques and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
– Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques
– Experience in military or law enforcement is a plus
– Excellent surveillance skills with attention to detail
