Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address potential security issues or hazards
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee activity across the premises
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper access control procedures are followed
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Assist with loss prevention initiatives by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when appropriate

Skills

• Strong understanding of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle tense situations professionally and effectively
• Background in security is mandatory for situational awareness and discipline
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with visitors, staff, and emergency responders
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
