Part time/on-call armed security (Post Commander)

NOW HIRING: ARMED POST COMMANDER

Spirit’s in Defense Security, Inc. is seeking a dependable, professional, and experienced Armed Post Commander to oversee our security operations at a Chick-fil-A location in Palmdale, California.

Position: Armed Post Commander

Location: Palmdale, CA

Schedule: Fridays & Saturdays

Hours: 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Status: Part-Time

Probationary Period: 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Provide professional armed security during scheduled shifts.
• Serve as the on-site Post Commander and help maintain company standards.
• Ensure post orders, uniform standards, reporting requirements, and client expectations are followed.
• Maintain professional communication with company management, the client, and security personnel.
• Properly document incidents and security activity.
• Assist with resolving on-site issues professionally and appropriately.
• Emergency call-off coverage is required as a last resort when no other qualified officer is available.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance, leadership, professionalism, and good judgment.

Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card.
• Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit.
• Must be legally qualified to work an armed security assignment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must be available for the Friday and Saturday schedule.
• Must be willing and able to respond to emergency coverage situations when required.
• Must successfully complete the company’s 90-day probationary period.
