Armed Security Officer

RIVERSIDE, CA Armed Security Officer

Big Will’s Security Service is a private security company. We are currently looking to hire armed, properly licensed, security professionals on a part-time, full-time, and/or on-call basis.

All applicants must be able to perform following duties:

-Conduct Foot patrols of interior and exterior areas of assigned buildings/ locations

-Write detailed reports of suspicious activities and/or persons

-Respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance

-Provide excellent customer care to clients and customers

-Other duties as assigned by clients and management personnel

All guards must meet the following requirements:

-Must have valid CA guard card.

-Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

-Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time.

-Must have reliable telephone communication, including the ability to send and receive text messages.

-Must be well-groomed and have professional appearance.

-Must be able to perform required duties without direct supervision.

-Must be available to start immediately.

-Must be able to start training, as soon as possible

-Must have open availability

-Must be able to work various/flexible days and hours (including weekends and holidays)

-Must be able to write daily activity reports on an hourly basis

-Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language

-Must be able to interact with the general public in a professional manner

-Must be able to handle incidents/situations efficiently and effectively.

A face-to-face pre-employment interview will be required.

Responsibilities and Duties

The responsibilities of this position are to observe and report.

The physical environment: Requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. We will request all employees to work overtime, even weekends for special program events.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Security Guard: 1 year

Required license or certification:

• Drivers License
• Guard Card
• Exposed Firearm Permit
• Pepper Spray Permit
• First-Aid/CPR/Stop the bleed training/certificate
• 40 hours of security training

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
