Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our property and its occupants. Responsibilities:

– Conduct patrols of the property, both on foot and in a vehicle, to identify and prevent any potential security breaches.
– Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any alarms or incidents.
– Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to address any security concerns or issues.
– Implement and enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
– Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as needed.
– Maintain accurate records of incidents, security breaches, and any other relevant information.
– Participate in loss prevention initiatives to prevent theft and damage to property.
– Conduct regular checks of the property to identify any potential security vulnerabilities.
– Stay vigilant and aware of any potential threats or dangers, and take appropriate action to prevent harm.

Qualifications:

– Must have a certificate in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
– Possess a background in loss prevention or law enforcement.
– Have experience in conflict management and resolution.
– Be able to pass a background check.
– Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
– Have a strong understanding of surveillance and CCTV systems.
– Be physically fit and able to perform the duties of the role without any limitations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
