Security Officer

Uniformed Protective Detail

ARSEC GROUP is hiring composed, highly alert Armed Security Officers’ for a professional uniformed detail.

We’re looking for officers who bring the discipline, polished appearance, discretion, and calm presence associated with high-level protective teams.

Every interaction matters. The right candidate can stay observant without being overbearing, communicate clearly, make sound decisions under pressure and help create a secure, orderly environment.

Unarmed candidates may be considered if they are willing and eligible to obtain the necessary licenses and permits required for their assigned role. Assistance and reimbursement for obtaining these credentials will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to protect protectees and personnel, maintain a safe environment and safeguard property.
• Act as a deterrent to potential safety challenges and assist in mitigating associated risks.
• Conduct patrols and remain alert to suspicious activity, safety hazards and changes in the environment.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems to support real-time awareness.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms and emergencies, following post orders and established protocols.
• Enforce access procedures, site rules and safety requirements with confidence and courtesy.
• Use sound judgment, clear communication and de-escalation techniques to resolve situations professionally.
• Assist during emergencies, including providing first aid or CPR when trained and needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors and, when appropriate, law enforcement or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs and required documentation.
• Attend required training and maintain applicable certifications and licensing.
• Provide courteous support to clients, guests and site personnel as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong professionalism, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and sound judgment under pressure.
• Security, executive protection, loss prevention, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance systems preferred.
• Required security and firearm licenses or permits for the assigned position, or eligibility and willingness to obtain them.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift items as needed.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp for company communication, scheduling, updates, and site coordination.
• Commitment to a clean, professional uniform standard and disciplined conduct while on duty.

Pay Practices & Scheduling

Overtime is calculated by the California workday and workweek, rather than by a rolling 24-hour period (which is more favorable to staff) and is paid in accordance with applicable California wage-and-hour law.

Pay: $23.00 – $35.00 per hour
