Job Description

As a Security Officer – Armed Patrol Sentinel in Pacific Palisades, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support customers and team members with service-minded interaction while following site procedures. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal and location-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas, including entrances, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible armed presence in accordance with licensing, training, and post orders; carry assigned equipment as directed and follow all use of force guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and law enforcement requests for assistance.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, patrols, and security-related observations; communicate pertinent information to location management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
