Class D Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations as necessary.
• Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
• Document incidents thoroughly in reports for future reference.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.
• Valid security certificate or license is a plus.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
• Proficient in using surveillance technology and equipment (CCTV).
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is beneficial.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
