Job Summary

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the premises, including entrances, exits, and restricted zones, to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies during night hours, coordinating with emergency services as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping for future reference.
• Enforce security policies by verifying identification and access credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally while ensuring safety for all parties involved.
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems to monitor activity continuously throughout your shift.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies.
• Ability to handle conflicts with professionalism using conflict management techniques.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and law enforcement protocols.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods during night shifts.
