Responsibilities

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Enforce access control protocols by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct patrols of the facility’s interior and exterior areas to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles with a focus on armed security operations.
• Valid firearms license or permit as required by local regulations for armed security personnel.
• Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring systems.
• Certification in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
• Knowledge of conflict management strategies and ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly.
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members, law enforcement, and the public.
• Ability to stand, walk, or remain alert for extended periods during shifts. Preferred qualifications include experience in loss prevention, familiarity with CCTV systems, background in law enforcement or military service, and additional certifications such as security training or specialized emergency response courses.
