FT ECT Program Coordinator

We are pleased to announce the following available position: FT ECT Program Coordinator (RN)

The ECT Program Coordinator is responsible for the staffing, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for the ECT program for the facility. Also, responsible for the operational and programmatic management of the designated program; and assist in the professional growth and development of nursing staff, and directly supervises employees in their respective units, carries out supervisory responsibilities in according with the organization’s. This position is responsible for planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems when needed.

All qualified candidates must have be a Licensed Register Nurse within the State of Florida and must possess a minimum of an Associates Degree in Nursing, but prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; prefer three (3) years Clinical Psychiatric Nursing experience with one of those years including supervisory duties preferably in an ECT program. Must maintain a current ACLS certification and all nursing competencies.

Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• One year nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric care or addictions and Intake
