Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Access Control Officer to join our team for night shifts from Thursday to Saturday, 11 PM to 7 AM. In this vital role, you will manage entry points, monitor surveillance systems, and uphold security protocols to safeguard premises. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment while providing exceptional service to visitors and staff.

Duties

• Authorize and verify access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with security policies
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Conduct visual inspections of entry points, fences, and surrounding areas to ensure integrity of the premises
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
• Maintain accurate logs of access records, incident reports, and shift activities
• Perform conflict management when necessary, de-escalating situations with professionalism and calmness
• Enforce loss prevention measures by observing for theft or unauthorized activities

Skills

• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operations and monitoring techniques
• Strong understanding of law enforcement procedures and conflict management strategies
• Ability to perform first aid and CPR in emergency situations
• Experience in security or military roles is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
• Familiarity with loss prevention practices and security protocols
• Ability to remain alert during overnight hours, demonstrating dependability and attention to detail
