Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Access Control Officer to oversee security operations during overnight shifts from Saturday to Wednesday, 11pm to 7am. In this role, you will manage access points, monitor surveillance systems, and ensure the safety of premises through diligent security practices. Your dedication will help maintain a secure environment while providing exceptional support to visitors, staff, and contractors.

Duties

• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at designated entry points.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Conduct visual inspections of entrances, exits, and surrounding areas to prevent unauthorized access or theft.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs of access activities, incident reports, and surveillance footage reviews.
• Enforce security protocols with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate situations when necessary.
• Support loss prevention initiatives by identifying potential risks and ensuring adherence to security policies.

Skills

• Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques.
• Experience in law enforcement, military, or security roles is highly advantageous.
• Training in first aid and CPR for emergency response readiness.
• Strong conflict management abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices.
• Ability to remain alert during overnight hours while maintaining high attention to detail.
