Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Access Control Officer to oversee security operations during overnight shifts from Wednesday to Saturday, 11 PM to 7 AM. In this role, you will manage access points, monitor surveillance systems, and respond promptly to security incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment while ensuring smooth access control procedures are followed at all times.

Duties

• Authorize and verify entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor CCTV surveillance feeds continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Conduct visual inspections of access points, fences, and surrounding areas to ensure perimeter integrity
• Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies by coordinating with emergency services as needed
• Maintain accurate logs of all access activities, incidents, and patrols during your shift
• Enforce loss prevention measures by observing and reporting suspicious behaviors or theft attempts
• Support conflict management efforts by de-escalating tense situations professionally and calmly

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and tact
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail during night shifts
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods during overnight hours
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with emergency responders
