Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and vigilant Part-Time Access Control Officers to join our team for shifts from 3PM to 11PM and 11PM to 7AM. In this role, you will be responsible for managing access points, monitoring security systems, and ensuring the safety of premises through proactive surveillance and incident response. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for security, law enforcement, or related fields to contribute to a secure environment while developing valuable skills.

Duties

• Authorize entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and authorized personnel at designated access points
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity around the premises
• Verify identification and documentation to ensure only authorized individuals gain access
• Respond promptly to security incidents or suspicious activity, following established protocols
• Maintain detailed logs of all access activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for reporting purposes
• Perform routine patrols of the facility perimeter and internal areas to deter theft or unauthorized access
• Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR if necessary and coordinating with emergency responders

Skills

• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operations and loss prevention techniques
• Familiarity with conflict management strategies and de-escalation techniques
• Basic first aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire
• Experience in law enforcement, military, or security roles is highly advantageous
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail during visual inspections and fence checks
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining alertness during long shifts
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
