Armed Security Guard

We are hiring commissioned Level III or IV Security Officers for a private event at Bayou City Event Center,* Sunday March 1st* from 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (6-hour shift).

This is a professional, high-visibility event requiring guards with strong presence, situational awareness, and crowd management experience.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking confident, professional officers who can maintain safety, manage crowds, and represent our company at a high level.

Preference given to candidates with:

• Event security experience
• Military or law enforcement background
• Crowd control or executive protection experience
• Strong command presence and communication skills

Gear & Licensing Requirements

• Active Level III or Level IV Texas Guard Card
• Duty gear and professional uniform
• Vest or body armor capable of carrying firearm and less-lethal tools (stun gun, OC, etc.)
• Professional appearance (no face coverings)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Monitor guest entry and activity
• De-escalate conflicts professionally
• Coordinate with event staff and team members
• Respond quickly and calmly to incidents

General Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone with location services capability
• Ability to use radios/communication devices
• Physically capable of standing and moving for extended periods
• Professional demeanor and strong situational judgment

First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
