Job Description: Security Guard – Jacksonville Beach

Location: Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach, 1515 1st Street, Jacksonville Beach, FL, 32250

• Ability to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises
• Respond to and investigate disturbances
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and evict violators from premises.
