Unarmed Security Officer – $16 per hour – Part Time

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with a focus on surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the premises through effective monitoring and response strategies.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Ability to sits or stands for long periods of time.
• Operate marked patrol vehicle on client sites
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents or emergencies.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct thorough inspections of premises to prevent theft or unauthorized access.
• Utilizing smart phone reporting device to document all incidents and prepare reports as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively to de-escalate situations and ensure safety.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Requirements

• Current Florida Class D Security License.
• Current State-Issued Driver License.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Must have open availability.
