Unarmed Security Guard

We are seeking a reliable and professional FLEX Unarmed Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and company property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized activities, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with established security procedures.

The successful candidate will possess excellent observation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. A strong commitment to safety, integrity, and customer service is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
• Patrol company premises on a regular basis to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property.
• Observe and investigate suspicious activities, individuals, or situations and take appropriate action.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, assessing situations and following established procedures.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unlawful activities.
• Provide assistance and directions to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Report security concerns, hazards, or violations to management promptly.
• Operate surveillance systems, communication equipment, and other security technology.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Security Officer registration/license (as required by state or local regulations).
• Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a related security role preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations, public safety practices, and applicable legal guidelines.
• Experience with surveillance systems, access control systems, and security equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write clear, accurate, and detailed incident reports.
• Excellent observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with security technology.
