Security Officer (Mobile Advisor)
This position serves as a Security Officer, also known as a Mobile Advisor, and is an hourly, non-exempt role reporting to the Safety, Security, and Transportation Manager.

This is not a passive security position. It is a leadership role on the front line. You are responsible for maintaining a safe and structured environment while also serving as a mentor, role model, and standard-bearer for student behavior.
You will set the tone. You will hold the line. And you will help guide young people toward better decisions, accountability, and personal growth.
This role requires presence, consistency, and sound judgment. You will actively monitor student activity, address behavioral concerns, and engage with students in a way that reinforces respect, discipline, and responsibility.

Education and Experience Requirements
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of crowd control and basic law enforcement procedures is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification must be maintained. Strong communication skills are required. The ability to relate to and work with a diverse student population is essential. This position requires operating standard office equipment and driving government vehicles. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain professional relationships across departments is critical.
