Job Summary
We are seeking a highly responsible and vigilant Security Supervisor to oversee day-to-day security operations at a well-organized, easy-to-manage site. This role is ideal for a confident leader who understands security protocols, values teamwork, and can respond decisively during incidents or emergencies.
The Security Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, professional environment through mobile patrols, on-site supervision, and proactive loss prevention strategies. You will lead security personnel with professionalism, ensure compliance with safety standards, and handle conflict situations calmly and tactfully.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of security personnel to ensure proper coverage and efficient response
- Conduct mobile patrols and routine site patrols to deter unauthorized access and maintain visibility
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to identify and respond to potential security threats
- Oversee access control procedures, verifying credentials for staff and visitors
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances using sound judgment and de-escalation techniques
- Implement and enforce loss prevention measures to reduce theft, damage, or vandalism
- Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with management
- Ensure company policies and all applicable laws and safety regulations are followed
- Provide First Aid or CPR when required to ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- Train and mentor new security officers on patrol procedures, surveillance, conflict resolution, and emergency response
- Serve as a visible, professional leader who sets the standard for performance and conduct
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or supervisory roles preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, mobile patrol operations, and loss prevention techniques
- Ability to remain calm, confident, and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent observation and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination
- First Aid, CPR, or conflict management certifications are a plus
- Prior supervisory experience is beneficial but not required—training provided for qualified candidates committed to growth

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
