Buford Security Agency is looking for an experienced and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to help maintain a secure, professional environment while also assisting with light office support. This role is ideal for someone who is alert, respectful, and comfortable balancing security presence with basic administrative tasks.

This position is a steady 29-hour per week schedule with consistent coverage needs.

Set Weekly Schedule (29 Hours Total)Monday – Friday

5:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. — Unlock doors
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. — Office and administrative duties
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. — Lock doors
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. — Patrol

Saturday & Sunday

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. — Patrol
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. — Patrol

Total: 29 hours per week
This schedule is designed to support daily operations while keeping the property secure. Scheduling adjustments may be made if business needs change.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Open and secure the facility at designated times
• Perform routine patrols and check common areas for safety concerns
• Stay aware of unusual activity and report issues immediately
• Provide a professional presence for employees, guests, and visitors
• Assist the office team with assigned support tasks
• Use a computer for basic administrative duties (printing, email, light data entry)
• Print and organize ID badges and access cards
• Prepare packages/materials for shipment or distribution
• Document shift activity and complete required reports

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of prior security experience (required)
• Strong communication skills and calm decision-making
• Comfortable working independently and staying on task
• Basic computer knowledge (printing, email, simple data entry)
• Professional appearance and customer-friendly attitude
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
