Duties

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activities or security breaches
• Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry
• Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
• Perform routine patrols of the facility, including perimeter checks and interior inspections, to identify potential hazards or unauthorized presence
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions effectively
• Conduct safety checks and provide first aid or CPR when necessary to ensure immediate response during medical emergencies
• Document all security activities, incidents, and observations accurately in shift reports and logs for accountability and review

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems is essential
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary
• Demonstrated ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols is advantageous
• Strong observational skills combined with the ability to respond quickly under pressure
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
