Morning Lobby Security Officer – High-Rise Office Building

Part-Time Schedule: 16 hours/week

Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Join Our Team – Professional Lobby Security Officer Needed for High-Rise Office Building

We are currently hiring a highly professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Security Officer to provide lobby security at a high-rise office building in the Houston 77079 area.

This is a high-visibility, customer-facing position. The Lobby Officer will serve as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests during overnight hours.

Because of the high-profile nature of this property, professionalism in appearance, communication, conduct, and customer service is non-negotiable. The ideal candidate understands that working in a high-rise lobby requires more than simply maintaining a security presence—it requires the ability to represent the property and security company professionally during every interaction.

Previous high-rise lobby, concierge, or Class A office security experience is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, visible, and attentive security presence in the building lobby
• Greet and assist tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor and control lobby access in accordance with property procedures
• Verify identification and follow visitor access and check-in procedures
• Provide directions and general assistance to tenants and visitors when needed
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and lobby activity
• Respond promptly and professionally to security concerns, incidents, and service requests
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when addressing difficult situations
• Communicate effectively with tenants, property management, vendors, and fellow security personnel
• Complete clear, accurate, and timely Daily Activity Reports and incident reports using company software
• Enforce property rules and security procedures consistently and professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional security desk and lobby presence

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional security experience
• 
  Previous high-rise lobby, concierge, or Class A office security experience is highly desired
• 
  MUST live within 20 miles of site – 77079
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach to tenant and visitor interactions
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Ability to remain alert, attentive, and engaged throughout the entire overnight shift
• Strong judgment and ability to professionally de-escalate situations when necessary
• Ability to follow detailed site procedures and security protocols
