Job Description

Field Training Officer Overnight. STX-4

Branch Field Training Officer (Overnight Operations) – Houston, TX

We’re not looking for someone to just fill a post. We’re looking for someone to raise the standard.

We are seeking a high-performing, professional Branch Field Training Officer to support and elevate multiple sites across the Houston area during overnight operations. This is a leadership-track role designed for individuals who take pride in developing others, owning their environment, and operating with a high level of accountability.

If you’ve ever walked onto a site and immediately seen what needs to be fixed—and more importantly, taken action—this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

You won’t just “check boxes”—you’ll shape performance in the field.

  • Lead onboarding and field training for new security officers
  • Conduct site visits, audits, and performance evaluations with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Set and reinforce expectations around professionalism, reporting, and client interaction
  • Support supervisors and respond to real-time operational challenges
  • Step into the field when needed—patrol, access control, and camera monitoring
  • Ensure continuity of service by supporting shift coverage when required
  • Handle minor operational needs (vehicle/golf cart readiness, basic maintenance like tire changes)

What This Role Really Is

This is the bridge between leadership and execution.

You are:

  • The standard officers are measured against
  • The person new hires remember as the one who set the tone
  • The one who catches issues early before they become client problems

This role is critical to building a disciplined, reliable, and professional workforce.

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior security experience required
  • Field Training Officer (FTO) or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, correct, and develop others
  • High attention to detail—especially in reporting and compliance
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently

Requirements:

  • Minimum age 25 (company vehicle insurance requirement)
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and adapt to operational needs
  • Must meet background and fit-for-duty standards

Why This Role Matters

This isn’t a static position—it’s a launch point.

You’ll gain:

  • Direct exposure to multi-site operations
  • Leadership development in real-world environments
  • The opportunity to influence culture, training, and performance
  • A clear path toward higher leadership roles within operations

Who This Is For

This role is for someone who:

  • Takes ownership without being asked
  • Holds the line on standards—even when it’s uncomfortable
  • Wants to grow into leadership, not just hold a position

If you’re ready to step into a role where your presence actually makes a difference, we want to hear from you.
