Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time (31 Hours per Week)

Schedule:

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Overview

We are hiring an Experienced Security Officer for two high-profile high-rise office buildings in Houston (77079 area). This part-time position requires a professional, customer-focused individual with strong security experience in commercial or corporate environments.

This role includes lobby security, access control, parking garage patrol, and overnight security operations. The officer will rotate between assigned posts.

Security Officer Responsibilities

• Provide professional lobby security and customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors
• Monitor and control building access points
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, including parking garage patrol
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and service calls
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports using reporting software
• Maintain a visible, professional presence at all times

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional security experience (commercial or high-rise preferred)
• Must live within 20 miles of 77079 (Houston area)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor (no neck, face, or below-the-wrist tattoos)
• Ability to work independently on overnight shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military, law enforcement, or corporate security experience
• Experience with CCTV systems and access control platforms
