LEVEL 3 SECURITY OFFICER’S – PART TIME/WEEKENDS (CARD IN HAND)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Level 3 Security Officer (current license in hand) to join our team and uphold the safety and security of our Sites . Available posts from Galveston to Pasadena area. This Officer needs to be able to work Day’s or Overnights. Must have reliable transportation. As a Security Officer, you will be the frontline guardian, responsible for monitoring premises, managing access control, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will ensure a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets alike. Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are maintained.
• Control access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and managing entry logs for employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors.
• Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, packages, and premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
• Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records to document all activities accurately.
• Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras effectively to monitor activity across multiple locations.
• Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and tact.
• Support emergency preparedness drills and ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention methods.
• First aid certification and CPR training to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: $18.50 – $19.00 per hour
