Job Description
We are seeking professional, dependable, and observant Security Officers to join our team at a high-traffic shopping mall in Houston, TX 77072. This role includes golf cart patrol and requires a high level of attention to detail, integrity, and customer service. Successful candidates will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests, employees, and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the property.
- Conduct regular patrols on foot and by golf cart to monitor parking areas, entrances, and common spaces.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances in accordance with company procedures.
- Deter theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities through proactive observation and engagement.
- Prepare detailed and accurate daily activity and incident reports.
- Provide courteous assistance and exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and vendors.
- Enforce property rules, safety policies, and applicable regulations consistently and respectfully.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and management as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Texas Drivers License or Texas Identification
- Valid Level II or Level III Security License (as applicable).
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check (clean driving record) and drug screening prior to employment.
- Ability to operate a golf cart safely and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills, professional appearance, and customer-service focus required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Prior experience in retail, mall, or high-traffic property security preferred but not required.
- Full-time shifts available, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
