Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Guardia de Seguridad para Bodega to safeguard our warehouse facilities and ensure the safety of personnel, inventory, and property. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through continuous surveillance, access control, and incident management. Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the warehouse and detect suspicious activity.
• Control access points using advanced security systems, verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and carriers.
• Conduct regular patrols around the premises to identify hazards, ensure security protocols are followed, and maintain physical security measures.
• Respond promptly to emergencies by executing established procedures for fire safety, medical incidents (including first aid and CPR), or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any irregularities, accidents, or security concerns encountered during shifts.
• Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as required to uphold safety standards.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques when dealing with disruptive individuals or tense situations while maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and access control systems.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), and Taser use preferred.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Strong skills in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and fire safety protocols.
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties over extended periods and respond swiftly when needed.
• Understanding of security regulations, compliance standards, and legal requirements related to physical security operations.
