Commissioned Security Officer

COMMISSIONED SECURITY OFFICER

April Sound Property Owners Association is seeking a part-time commissioned officer for our security services department. The ideal candidate will be professional, hard-working, and have the ability to work well with others, be able to demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow in the security industry and will be flexible with their work hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages secure gate entrance to residential community.
• Secures premises by patrolling in vehicle or on foot as needed.
• Respond to various emergency incidents.
• Utilize access control and CCTV equipment.
• Prepares logs and reports.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills.

REQUIRMENTS:

• U.S. Citizen
• 25 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
• Driving record free of violations
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug test.
• Ability to meet and maintain any applicable, state, county and municipal licensing requirements.
• Must be able to work on weekends and evenings as needed during peak times of business.

PREFERRED:

• Level III armed
• 2 Years experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
