Starting salary $16.50-17.00 with a review after 90 days, all online mandatory training is paid by Port Security Services upon completion

Job Duties:

• Ensure personnel safety of staff, visitors and property
• Respond and investigate appropriately to situations reported
• Check identification, vehicle decals, and badges of persons entering the facility
• Maintain logs and records of occurrences via daily activity reports, crew lists, gate lists, etc.
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
• We have openings at several sites and for varying overnight shifts. Preference will be given to applicants with the most flexibility.

Requirements – Qualified Candidates MUST meet the following requirements:

• Possess a valid/ unexpired Security Officer License
• Possess a valid TWIC card (Transportation Worker’s Identification Card, obtained via tsa.gov)
• Minimum of 1 year of prior security experience
• Have a valid/ non-suspended/ unexpired Driver’s License
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience – Higher Education is a plus
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check

• Have basic computer knowledge
