Job Description

Where Hospitality Becomes Unscripted.

Job Summary

At OTH Hotels Resorts, we don’t believe in service that’s scripted—we believe in hospitality that’s human. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you are more than a watchful presence—you’re a calming, respectful protector who ensures that guests and team members feel safe, supported, and cared for at all times. This role isn’t just about patrolling hallways or checking doors—it’s about being approachable, observant, and ready to respond with heart. You balance vigilance with warmth, enforcing safety while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that defines our brand. You are more than a security officer—you’re a trusted presence. And when empowered with our Unscripted Hospitality mindset, your work behind the scenes creates a peace of mind that guests and team members can feel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol all areas of the hotel including guest floors, back-of-house spaces, entrances, and public areas.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and guest concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activity, safety reports, and incident logs.
  • Enforce property rules and regulations while treating all individuals with courtesy and respect.
  • Conduct safety inspections and identify any potential hazards or violations.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Provide escort services to guests and team members as needed.
  • Support front desk and other departments during overnight shifts or busy periods.
  • Assist with lost and found procedures, crowd control, and special events.
  • Monitor security systems, cameras, and alarms and take appropriate action when alerts are triggered.

Who You Are

  • A calm, level-headed professional who naturally inspires trust.
  • Detail-oriented, alert, and able to stay focused in quiet and active environments.
  • Skilled in de-escalation, conflict resolution, and handling sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Physically able to walk, stand, and respond quickly throughout your shift.
  • Comfortable working independently during overnight, weekend, or holiday shifts.
  • Strong communicator in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred, but not required.
  • Familiar with basic safety protocols, emergency procedures, and reporting standards.
  • Security license and/or CPR/First Aid certifications may be required based on local regulations.

What Makes Us Different

Unscripted Hospitality is more than a service philosophy—it’s a culture of care, empowerment, and personal connection. At OTH Hotels Resorts, we believe safety doesn’t have to feel sterile—it can feel thoughtful, human, and quietly reassuring. In your role, you don’t just protect people and property—you preserve the spirit of hospitality itself.
