Hotel Security Officer – Unarmed

About us

Op6 is a small business in Katy, TX, founded by a former Houston-area Police Officer and 10-year Military Veteran.

Schedule:

• Tuesday – Saturday, 7pm – 3am (or similar)

Work environment:

• Hotel near NRG stadium
• Indoors / outdoors (split)

Responsibilities:

• Access control – positioned inside, in the lobby, at the front door
• Monitor patrons at hotel bar
• Monitor front parking lot to deter vehicle break-ins
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
• Must have high-school diploma or GED
• Must be able to read and write the English language
• Intermediate-level typing and/or data-entry skills
• Current Texas driver license and ability to operate a golf-cart
• Current Non-Commission or Commissioned licensing through DPS-PSB
• Minimum of 1+ years of Security, Military and/or Law Enforcement in "armed" capacity
• Height-to-weight proportionate
• Must be able and willing to complete up to an 8-hour "Basic-level" training course, prior to assignment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
