Commissioned Security Officer – Armed

Overview
We are seeking a highly trained and vigilant Commissioned (Armed) Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a professional with a strong background in law enforcement or military experience, equipped with the skills necessary to handle high-pressure situations effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention, maintaining a secure environment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, applying conflict management techniques as needed.
• Conduct thorough security checks and inspections of facilities to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Enforce security policies and procedures diligently to protect personnel and property.
• Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities and security breaches.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external intervention.
• Assist with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage within the premises.

Experience

• Prior law enforcement, military service, or security experience is highly preferred.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are advantageous.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols is essential.
• Strong background in security operations with an emphasis on armed security procedures.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining high levels of vigilance. Pay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour
