Armed Security Officer

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises by foot and physical inspections to identify security vulnerabilities or suspicious activity.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations when necessary.
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and personnel before granting access, maintaining strict control over entry points.
• Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations, offering immediate assistance until professional responders arrive.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring official intervention.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately reflecting daily activities and any irregularities observed.

Experience

• Proven experience in security roles, preferably within law enforcement, military service, or private security environments.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and professionally.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and techniques to protect assets effectively.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies while maintaining composure under pressure.

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
