Overview
Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Officer – Texas Licensed (Level II), where your vigilance and commitment will help create a safe and secure environment for everyone. Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems (CCTV) to oversee activity across the premises, identifying potential risks or suspicious behavior.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access while maintaining a visible security presence.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols; communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and activity documentation accurately for record-keeping and future reference.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activities that could lead to theft or damage.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance if needed.
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or security experience is highly valued for understanding security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to identify potential theft or vandalism activities.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and tact while maintaining a positive attitude.
