Level IV Personal Protection Officer (PPO) – Flex

We are seeking highly professional and hospitality-minded Level IV PPOs for a high-visibility client site in Houston, TX.

Atlas Glinn is a Texas-based protective services firm specializing in executive protection, residential security, and threat assessment. Our team is composed of seasoned professionals from military, law enforcement, and private security backgrounds. We pride ourselves on discretion, readiness, and elite client service.

• This role calls for a poised, situationally aware professional who can seamlessly integrate security precision with warm, attentive guest engagement.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring their comfort while discreetly upholding a secure and safe environment.
• Enforce site-specific standards and dress code policies with tact and clarity
• Patrol and monitor assigned areas with strong situational awareness
• Identify, read, and track behavioral cues or potential threats
• Coordinate with management or law enforcement as needed
• Maintain detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) with accuracy and clarity
• Escort staff to vehicles post-shift and complete end-of-night walkthroughs
• Rotate indoor/outdoor coverage as assigned, maintain full post coverage at all times

Hours: 20-32 hours/week, rotating schedule with alternating weekends off.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Level IV PPO License
• MMPI and Firearms Certification (or recent requalification)
• Concealable firearm with professional holster (no bulging or printing)
• Professional appearance and demeanor (Suit: Black, Navy and/or Dark Gray. Polished shoes: Black, Navy or Brown. No Exceptions!)
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Concise communication and strong writing skills. Essential for DARs and client reports
• Exceptional verbal communication and de-escalation skills
• Ability to read environments, track behavior, and interpret intent
• Reliable personal transportation (own vehicle) to reach multiple sites as scheduled
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented (arrive 10–15 minutes early for prep)
• Able to stand and operate in outdoor environments for extended periods

Preferred Background

• Executive Protection or corporate security experience
• Luxury hospitality, concierge, or front-of-house background
• Prior military, law enforcement, or advanced security operations experience
