Level 3 Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and potential threats are addressed promptly.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Enforce regulations and policies to maintain order and safety within the facility.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
• Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
• Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills.

Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in security or law enforcement. Preferred qualifications include:

• Familiarity with surveillance systems and monitoring techniques.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Experience in military service or related fields is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A valid security certificate or training in loss prevention strategies is an advantage.
