Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Scout in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce incidents, and support a smooth daily operation through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $13.65 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control and other security-related activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or local emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities and follow post orders, facility rules, and Allied Universal guidelines while working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
