Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Level III Security Guard to join our team and uphold the highest standards of physical security at designated facilities. This role demands a proactive, vigilant professional capable of managing complex security situations, performing detailed surveillance, and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in law enforcement, military experience, or advanced security operations, combined with exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patrols of the premises, including building interiors, exteriors, and perimeter fences to deter unauthorized access and identify potential threats.
- Operate access control systems to regulate entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vendors, verifying identities through performing background checks when necessary.
- Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment to monitor activity across multiple locations, ensuring real-time security oversight.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations by executing emergency response procedures such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting all security-related events accurately and promptly for future review.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques effectively while maintaining professionalism during tense situations.
- Perform physical security tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and the use of specialized tools such as Tasers, firearms, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), CPR techniques, and fire extinguishers.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or advanced security roles is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in surveillance techniques using CCTV systems and access control technology.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
- Strong background in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and manual handling comfortably.
- Familiarity with security regulations and compliance standards relevant to high-level security operations.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle diverse situations professionally.
