Unarmed Security Officer

POSITION OVERVIEW

Universal Safe Guard is currently seeking reliable and dedicated Security Officers for two City of Fort Worth sponsored housing properties. These communities require consistent, high-quality service and unwavering dependability. This position combines strict gate access control with active foot patrol to ensure the safety and peace of mind of all residents.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS (24/7/365 Coverage)

Morning: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Evening: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Overnight: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Access Control: rigorously screen incoming visitors via our mobile app and check in incoming residents.
*
Active Patrol: Conduct regular foot patrols (standing, walking, and talking required for the duration of the 8-hour shift) to ensure house rules are adhered to and perimeter fences are secure against trespassing.
*
Incident Management: De-escalate potential conflicts, manage difficult or potentially aggressive situations, and interact professionally with residents, non-residents, and law enforcement when necessary.
*
Reporting: Utilize Security Reporting Software to properly document incidents, resident complaints, and daily activity logs.

REQUIREMENTS:
*
Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to work and a proven track record of timeliness.
*
Technology: Must possess a working smartphone for reporting software and scheduling apps.
*
Physical: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-hour shifts).
*
Skills: Strong customer service, verbal de-escalation, and comfort interacting with the public.
*
Uniform: Candidate must provide their own black boots or work shoes.
*
Provided by USGC: Navy blue tactical shirt and pants.

Career Development (TacPro Program):

Qualified Security Officers will be granted access to our TacPro program. This allows officers to:
– Acquire security contracts.

– Work hours toward becoming a business owner or contract manager with no risk and no upfront costs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
