Level 2 officer

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Level 2 Officer to join our dynamic security team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by overseeing access control, conducting inspections, and supporting incident management.

The position will be at an apartment complex, near downtown Fort Worth. The hours are 9pm-6am, level two officer. You will be patrolling the property by foot or vehicle, conducting hourly checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry.
• Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, vehicles, and premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized activities.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by coordinating with relevant authorities and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security operations or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or irregularities quickly.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and remain vigilant for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Certifications related to security or first aid are a plus but not required.
