Armed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are swiftly addressed. The Armed Security Officer will play a crucial role in deterring criminal activity and providing peace of mind to clients.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential risks.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a secure environment.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports for record-keeping purposes.
• Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring inventory and reporting any discrepancies.

Skills

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle difficult situations.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with clients and law enforcement.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
