Unarmed Security Guard (English/Spanish Bilingual)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage.
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring safety and well-being of all individuals on site.

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse populations.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
• Certification or training in first aid, CPR, conflict management, or law enforcement is a plus.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring premises and recording incidents.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
